DECland
is home to some of our older (and larger) technology. This small region
of space is dedicated to that famous (infamous?) New England company which
brought us such treasures as the PDP, LSI, VAX, and Alpha architectures.
Housed in DECland is a DEC Rainbow, VT320 Terminal,
VAXStation 3100, and two MicroVAX
II 630's, as well as 1.6 GB of rack-mounted RA81 hard disks, a ton of
documentation, and 8 years of our favorite Denny's reading, The
DEC Professional. And no, we can't turn on EVERYTHING at once without
blowing a fuse. |
